From a decent premise (of people with certain power types, and how it gets passed on to their offspring, though some of it feels like "Heroes" in spots, I didn't mind the similarities), the film languished in the mid-section (just plain dull), and does have a lackluster conclusion with too much of it being open-ended for a story that isn't guaranteed to make it to a future installment.
I give it 2.5 stars, or a grade of C+.
