The overall film could have been better, but for a thriller in the "man against the legal machine" genre, none of the 3 sides: wronged man (Gerard Butler's character), prosecutor willing to cut deals to maintain high conviction rate (Jamie Foxx's character), and bad guys (some generic bad guy actors) in this film are all that likable, so you just end up watching how it'll pan out without much investment in the wronged guy due to the extremes he goes to make a point.
I give it 2 stars, or a grade of C.
