As marketed as a female empowerment tale, I was let down by the story itself, but the animation is gorgeous, and the accents were fun. Making one's fate being the central theme of the film, the story of the film just didn't really engage me, so from that standpoint, it won't be a Pixar film that I will revisit much. It was sort of "gory" in its violence level, surprisingly so.
I give it 2.75 stars, grade of B-, on the animation alone. Just wish I liked the characters better, and the the story too.
